When PU injection is the right call
Active water through a crack or joint — basement during monsoon, terrace slab, expansion joint, pipe penetration. PU reacts with water and expands to seal. Dry structural cracks need epoxy, not PU alone.

Active leaks accelerate steel corrosion inside slabs and columns. Every week water reaches reinforcement, rust expands, and repair scope grows. Emergency PU injection can run during rain; full waterproofing follows once the leak path is sealed.
PU injection process
- Locate leak path — not just visible drip point
- Drill packers along crack or joint at set spacing
- Inject hydrophilic or hydrophobic PU under pressure
- Verify seal with water test
- Finish surface and recommend permanent waterproofing where needed
